Step 1: 2D & 3D visualisation

Our engineers make a producable product or project from an idea or concept by using 2D & 3D CAD software programs. In the engineering we look to the final dimensions, shape, choice of material, possible production techniques, surface treatment and coloration of the product. With the 2D/3D modeled CAD model we can make photorealistic visualisations and virtual strength calculations. For some products/projects it’s necessary, but this always goes in close consultation with the client.

Step 2: Prototyping

With a modeled 3D CAD model we can produce fast and easy a prototype or small serie production by using our 3D printer. That gives us the opportunity to transform a 3D visualize product into a tangible product in an early stage of the design process. With a 3D printed model a few technical properties can be already tested. We believe that a 3D printed model greatly enhances the design process, both in quality and in speed.

Step 3: Detail engineering

If a prototype is generated and the first technical properties are tested, we will go deeper into the detail engineering. During the detail engineering the concept will be further developed. For this we’ve regular consultation with our clients. We’re convinced that joint knewledge and experience will lead us to the best end product. At the end of the detail engineering a technical drawing package will be created. In this drawing package, the smallest details, angles of inclination, dimensions and tolerances are recorded. This package will be send to a manufacturer for production.

Step 4: Rendering

In the end of the engineering, when a 3D CAD model is already generated, we can render a photorealistic picture or video. A render doesn’t contain unevenness, is very detailed and sometimes better than a picture. With a render can be looked at design, color composition and possible operation of the product. It’s often used to announce an upcoming product or project.
